About Mycelium

See what your child is actually learning.

A living record of learning — without the paperwork.

Mycelium is a calm, thoughtful record-keeping app for homeschool families. Snap a photo of a project, jot a sentence about what your kid did today, and Mycelium quietly connects it to the standards you care about. Over the year, you end up with a real, sharable record — the kind you can hand to a reviewer, a co-op, or your future self.

Built around what's growing — not just what's missing.

What it does

Four small things, done well.

Capture in seconds

Photos, notes, and short reflections — one per moment, not one per subject.

Auto-connect to standards

Add your state or country's standards once. Mycelium suggests which ones each artifact touches.

Living transcripts

Grades, courses, and school years live alongside the raw evidence — not in a separate binder.

Household-shaped

One family, multiple kids, one calm workspace. Invite a co-parent or tutor.

See how it works

You take the photo and give the final yes. Mycelium does the rest.

STEP 1

Capture a moment

Photograph a worksheet, a project, or a page from a notebook — up to ten photos per assignment — and note the date it happened. Add a sentence if you like. That's the whole input: no forms, no manual tagging.

The Add work screen showing date, class, support level, photos, and Save and find connections.

STEP 2

See the connections and the grade

Mycelium connects the work to the specific standard it demonstrates — the actual code, like A1.A.REI.B.3, not just "Math" — and cites the evidence: which problem, which answer, and why it fits. It suggests a grade based on the quality of the work only, never on how much help was needed. You approve, edit, or reject — nothing reaches the record until you say so.

The Review screen: photos of the work, an editable grade, and suggested standard connections with cited evidence.

STEP 3

Watch mastery build

Every approved piece adds evidence. A standard grows through repeated work, and only reaches Flourishing after four separate passes — so the record reflects a pattern, not a single good day.

STEP 4

Print the record

Approved work flows into the gradebook, counts the school day toward attendance, and builds into a transcript you can print — a transcript per class, plus an attendance summary for any period. The kind of record you can hand to a reviewer or a co-op.

The Printable reports screen: attendance report and per-class transcripts.
